For 2012, Troop 483 will be going to Bartle's 3rd Session, which runs from June 28 thru July 7, 2012. We will be staying in Camp Sawmill, Campsite - Hawthorn.
There are several Leadership Positions available that we need to fill for Summer Camp at Bartle this year. We are most urgently in need of a Merit Badge Coordinator. The Troop will begin sign-up for Merit Badge programs on the April 31st Troop meeting. Below is a file showing all the positions that are needed for a successful Summer Camp session. Please feel free to volunteer for more than one position.
Scouts / Parents, the troop needs a current health form for every scout in the troop and for every leader that intends to
participate in any campouts or events with the troop. Attached is the required health form.
New Health Form
This is a new format this year.
This form must be updated annually for every scout / leader in the troop, and a physical examination (Part B of the form) is
required annually. For anyone going to summer camp, we MUST have the forms prior to departure on June 28th.
If you have not done so, please get a physical scheduled and get the form signed by your doctor and turned into the troop as
soon as possible. No one will be allowed at Bartle summer camp without a health form on file.

All scouts will have the opportunity to participate in Outpost activities. These are special activities that occur during lunch or dinner. We request various outpost activities and will assign scouts to the outpost activities based on the ones we are assigned. To help us know what Outpost activities you want to participate in, we need you to complete an Outpost Election Form.
If the scout going to camp has any special needs, including dietary needs, you must contact Byron Long by the 1st April scout meeting.
Please see Larry Hisle for the payment of any outstanding Bartle Camp fees. All fees are due by March 15th.
